Lens Train Station - Paris, France

Lens is a famous railway station in Pas-de-Calais, in southern France. The old building was constructed in 1926-1927 with a steel framework resembling a railway locomotive. The original architect was Urbain Casson. In 1980 it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the design is kept as it was when it was first built.

The layout of the station is quite complex. It has many stations, each with different levels and different access points to all other stations. There are four platforms for passenger trains to board and leave from. The main platform has the ticket office, a baggage carousel and an information desk with a telephonic display.

The three platforms are connected to the main train station by a pedestrian passage. There are also exits for both directions at the other end of the pedestrian passage. At the west end there is an entrance to a restaurant and a bus stop. At the east end there is an entrance to the Espace de l'Etoile.

The modern day of the station has many shops on one of its four sides. This has allowed the station to become a shopping and leisure centre. Many tourists are attracted by the large number of shops available on one side of the station. People can visit the shop to buy a variety of products.

Some of the different shops on the station include a hair salon, a bakery, a hair dresser, a nail salon and a spa. The food court has a variety of cuisines from all over the world. The bakery offers a wide variety of fresh fruit, nuts, cheese, bread and biscuits.

There are also a number of retail shops on the other two sides of the station, including a pharmacy, a bank, a post office and an Internet cafe. There are also parking facilities available nearby.

At the main entrance, visitors are allowed to enter through one of the escalators. From here they have a short walk down the escalator to the underground passageway. The walk down the underground passage is covered by carpeting and has lights and music to guide them. From here they can walk down a short set of stairs to the bottom of the escalator, where the escalator turns left and then turns right.

The underground passage ends with another escalator, and the entrance is accessible through a door at the other end of this escalator. From here they can walk down a set of stairs towards the main entrance.

For a modern day visitor there are a number of shopping options available at the main entrance. There is a large and well arranged retail shop selling shoes, clothing and other items, and an entrance to the supermarket. These shops sell a range of products from all over the world.
