Olonne Sur Mer - A Historical Place

Olonne Sur Mer is a once thriving commune located in the Pays du Loire province in central France. On 1 January 2020, it was amalgamated into the new commune Les Oronnes. It is home to the famous basketball team, Pays de La Loire, which plays all of its games at the prestigious Salle Bauas-sur-Olonne. The game dates back to 1849, when the Pays du Loire played matches against teams from the neighboring areas of Savoy, L'Etoile, Champagne and Vendee.
