Getting Around in Porte De Clignancour

Paris Porte De Clignancourt is an important station of the Paris Metro, the main rail terminus of line 2, which runs along the eastern section of the city. It connects the city centre and the Espace Clignan-de-Provence via the Marne station and the Gare du Midi.

It is well known for its central location and is home to many famous landmarks as well as other popular tourist attractions. The station has three terminals: the Central de Clignancourt/Gare de lire, the central terminal and the Midi-Port de Clignac, serving the main railway station and metro stations. The Central de Clignancour is the closest to the city centre and has direct access to the Montmartre metro. It is also connected to the rest of the train network through a number of tunnels.

The central terminal is one of the busiest and is linked to other metro lines such as 'Orientation', 'Buses', 'Rideau-Rothschild 'Rideau-Picard'. The Midi-Port de Clignac serves the metro 'Orientation' as well as 'Rideau-Picard 'Centre de Chartres'. There are direct bus links from the Central terminal to the Montmartre metro and other key metro stations. If you want to get onto the metro 'Orientation' directly, you will need to exit at the northbound end and then take the escalators to the 'Langue' turnstile where you will find an entrance to the station. The escalator leads to the southbound doors, which are linked to the metro 'Orientation' and then to the entrance.

The Central de Clignancour is located in an area known as 'Bibliothèque Clique', which is one of the main areas in Paris for research and book collecting. Some of the most famous libraries in the world are situated here. Many visitors enjoy finding and purchasing rare books and manuscripts in this fascinating place. For a quieter evening of reading or just relaxing in a quiet corner of this part of the city, many people enjoy taking a walk along the Bibliothèque de Clignac, which runs between the Central de Clignac/Gare de l'Aire and 'Rothschild'. In addition, there is a small cafe on the western edge of the Bibliothèque de Clignac, near the entrance that serves light sandwiches and other refreshments.

This railway station is not connected to any other stations. The underground train can be used for the metro 'Orientation' and for the tram 'Rideau-Picard 'Centre de Chartres'. You can travel on the Underground through the metro to the metro 'Orientation' station, then take the red light 'Rideau-Picard' until you reach the 'Rothschild' station, which is located near 'Orientation' and is also linked to the rest of the train network. The tram line runs to the southern side of the city centre and the north, with stops along the way. There is another tram stop on the south side of 'Rothschild', which serve the tram to the southern part of the Gare du Midi, and the remaining stops are along the same route.

There are three big buildings housing shops, restaurants, shops and restaurants on the south side of the station: the Montmartre Central on the north side and the Rue des Pins on the south side. The buildings themselves house many shops but do not serve food, but provide the service for a few tourist attractions in the Porte de Clignac.
