Nogents Sur Marne is actually a commune situated in the central areas of Paris, in the western suburbs of France. It's located 10.7 kilometers away from the city center. Nogents Sur Marne is part of the Val-De-Marse department, which is the administrative division of the city of Nimes, France. It is also known as Nouvelle-Aquitaine.

Nogents Sur Marne was created in 1866 by Paul Guesdon, a local official and an engineer who later became mayor of Nimes. The commune was founded on the grounds of a land that is now the Thirteenth Arrondissement. At that time, the population was extremely poor; only about a hundred families lived in Nogents Sur Marne. The land, together with its natural beauty, gave Nogents Sur Marne a very warm welcome, as well as an excellent environment for growing grapes, olives, and other fruits.

Nogents Sur Marne, which is named after the commune, is now divided into four districts, namely, the arrondissements du Vosges, la Croisette, the arrondissements de Nantes, and the arrondissements du Rhone. All of them have different neighborhoods. The arrondissements du Vosges are those located at the edge of the town in the middle of Thirteenth Arrondissement. The arrondissements du Rhone lies on both sides of the River Rhone in central Nimes. These neighborhoods are home to the people of the arrondissements du Vosges, but they also have a lot of visitors because of the many vineyards and olive groves located in their neighborhood.

The Nogents Sur Marne also has a very unique climate. Although it is in the center of the French Riviera, it has a relatively dry Mediterranean climate which makes it ideal for growing grapevines and olives. The soil is usually sandy and is also slightly acidic.

In the past, Nogents Sur Marne was considered as a poor and unappealing place to live, but today it is a popular real estate destination for young and old alike. The main attractions in Nogents Sur Marne are the Cote de Nuits des Beaux Poules, a national park that protects a series of historic and natural waterfalls, the Saint Jean-Maurice de Clairvaux, the famous "Guelph of Bordeaux," and the Cote de Fontenoy.
