"The Messenger" Film Review - A Film Review of The Messenger

A new movie, "The Messenger," starring Reese Witherspoon as a character called Chatillon, is one that you must see. If you have never heard of the character, he was a French Catholic priest who became an Assassin during the French Revolution. This is a film that will not only be exciting to watch, but one that will also make you feel the French Revolution in a way that no other movie can. So what is the movie about?

Chatillon is an assassin who gets captured by the Crown and his execution is carried out as the main character is being tortured. He escapes, meets up with the Resistance and saves them by killing many of the Royalists. They take his body back to France and bury him in a cemetery. There they are attacked by the Resistance, and the Resistance leader takes him to a monastery where she intends to crucify him.

Meanwhile, he gets to know the Resistance and becomes a member. In order to help them get ready for battle, Chatillon decides to infiltrate the Royalist camp. There he becomes acquainted with the resistance leader and is training to become a good marksman.

Once the war is over and the movie ends, Chatillon makes it his mission to find the Resistance. However, the Resistance leader has taken up his father's job as a priest and won't tell him where they are. This leads Chatillon to finally discover the truth about his family and avenge his father.

"The Messenger" is a great historical film that covers many aspects of the French revolution. It is interesting and thrilling to watch the actors do their roles well. Reese Witherspoon's character makes her part in this movie very interesting.

The movie is recommended for everyone. I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys historical movies.

I also liked how this movie was shot in black and white, rather than using color. Black and white is a much different look than color, so it gives the film a really unique look. If the producers had used color, the colors might have looked a little bit strange, and the picture might have lost some of the special effects.

Overall, I thought the movie was great. The dialogue is very well-done and the story is very entertaining. I liked it!

I recommend "The Messenger" to anyone who likes historical movies and the life of Chatillon. I liked it so much that I'm planning on watching all three of his movies. !
