Visit Grozon

Grozon is one of the most beautiful communes in the France Comté region in eastern France. It was originally started by the Frangois brothers, but since then it has become a haven for artists and artisans. Many of the homes have been made from wood as well as stone, which make them a truly unique place to live.

Frangois and his brothers, Augustin and Jean-Louis were originally only interested in art and crafts and nothing else until they bought a small farm and set it aside as a retreat. Eventually, they decided that it was time to create a home away from home and decided to build a large one on a plot of land they had chosen.

The area surrounding Grozon on the French countryside is one of the most beautiful and idyllic in France. Most of it lies between the La Plaine and La Reunion de La Plaine lakes. Some of the homes are close to the water with beautiful gardens and fountains around. There are many ponds and pools that people can swim in. Some of the houses are made from natural stone and are a great place for outdoor activities like hiking, skiing and boating.

Grozon itself is an incredibly unique and picturesque area of the countryside. There are many wonderful beaches and coves, which have crystal clear waters and very few fishermen. The beaches are usually just a couple of meters wide and offer a great opportunity for snorkeling and diving. There are also many lovely coves and forests which are perfect for enjoying nature walks. Grozon itself is very scenic and very romantic.

The frangois brothers decided to build their own house to be used as their own retreat, but the local authorities did not approve of them building in this way. They had to be moved. Eventually they were allowed to build on land they had chosen before, which was still under the original plans, although the houses were smaller. After the brothers retired, they sold the house. A real estate agent bought it at a cheap price and put it up for sale in 1990. This was how Grozon was born.

The town of Grozon has become popular and it is well known in the tourist industry. Many international artists and writers come to visit this area to relax and stay in homes that have been designed by famous French designers, like Renzo Piano and Alain Demyte. The area is also famous for its spa resorts and health spas where you can get massages, rejuvenation treatments and even a massage.
